Sought after by brides for the past decade for her incredible couture ensembles, Ministry of Design’s Winky Singh teams up with daughter Rashima Singh to present a new, stunning bridal trousseau collection.
All brides want to look their best on their wedding day, and Indian designer Winky Singh has been helping brides achieve this since the early 2000s, creating custom made gowns and ethnic Indian outfits for the creme de le creme of society.
One of the first designers to introduce ’fusion-wear’ with intricate cutwork and appliques to the Indian market, she has collaborated with renowned international designers, in the past. Taking her brand, Ministry of Design further, she launched her first flagship store and bridal collection in 2013 and now has partnered with her daughter Rashima Singh to launch their second bridal and trousseau collection.
Reflecting the freedom, elegance and dignity of a woman, Ministry of Design’s streamlined, minimal way with the classic Indian wedding ensemble has garnered a league of followers. Every creation is timeless, and absolutely elegant. Each outfit is made to dress the 21st century bride, who is traditional, and yet unafraid to experiment and try new things. Be it with bright, bold hues on a lehenga, unique silhouettes or even an interesting blend of modem and vintage style—it’s all about creating dream ensembles for the biggest day of her life.
From intricate crafted bridal couture, and the use of ancient technique and art, every outfit is a statement-making piece. From sculpted gowns, in lush velvet to jacquard masterpieces; monochrome palettes accented by hints of pale pink and green crepe; to elaborate ensembles with red and gold seed beading and sophisticated embroidery.
For every discerning bride’s requirements, the designer duo also offers a bespoke service exclusively at their flagship store Ministry of Design—Wintky Singh & Rashima Singh in Delhi.
